From Route 395: Take exit for Route 44 (Exit 97).  Take a left at the end of the ramp if coming from 395 South, or a right at the end of the ramp if coming from 395 North.  Go .9 miles to the junction of Route 44 and Route171 West.  Turn right onto Route 171 West.  Go 3.5 miles, which will include going through 3 traffic lights and entering Woodstock, Connecticut.  At the fourth light, turn left, staying on Route 171 West (Route 169 North continues straight).  Go 1.2 miles and you will see greenhouses on your left and a Sprucedale Gardens sign.  Turn left on East Quasset Road.  The nursery entrance is the first driveway on the left. 

From Route 84 East:  Take Exit 73.  At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Route 190 East.  Go 1.9 miles to junction with Route 171, turn right onto Route 171 East.  Go 13 miles on Route 171 East and turn right onto East Quasset Road.  The nursery entrance is the first driveway on the left.

From Massachusetts:  Take Route 169 South into Woodstock.  Go through the first traffic light, and continue for several miles to traffic light in South Woodstock (light is before Woodstock Fairgrounds) at the intersection of Routes 169 and 171.  Take a right at the light onto Route 171 West.  Go 1.2 miles and you will see greenhouses on your left and a Sprucedale Gardens sign.  Turn left on East Quasset Road.  The nursery entrance is the first driveway on the left.
